The Challenge of Leadership

Seminar Overview

What makes an effective leader?  This seminar explores the research conducted by James M. Kouzes and Barry Posner, (authors of The Leadership Challenge).   Through the use of an in-depth assessment tool, the Five Exemplary Practices of Leadership are explored and participants create an action plan within each practice area.

Course Objectives

Participants can expect to:

• Gain knowledge of the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership
• Review feedback about individual use of these practices in the workplace
• Identify personal leadership strengths and opportunities for improvement
• Create an action plan to fully incorporate the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership

This course is appropriate for any leader or leadership team interested in exploring the essential dimensions of leadership.
