This seminar provides the participant with guidelines to effectively evaluate and discuss performance with employees in accordance with the expectations previously set by the supervisor and the employee.

Understand that performance appraisals are not a "once a year event" and how they fit into the overall Performance Management Process
Learn how to effectively prepare for and utilize a logical structure to conduct performance appraisal discussions
Gain insight into the distinctions between each level of performance ratings (Utilizing your organizations current performance appraisal form)
Learn how to write descriptive and behavioral-based comments
Learn techniques to be able to better handle challenging employee reactions during the performance appraisal discussion
